Monthly Meetings – Seven Meetings per Year + Member Rate at the Annual Grand Rapids IT Symposium
One of the major benefits for ITMA members is peer group interaction. Our members like the formal networking each month. In addition, they enjoy the informal access to other members by a single phone call, e-mail, and face-to-face visits.
Grand Rapids IT Symposium
In
2012 ITMA partnered with EFM to bring the 1st Annual IT Symposium to
Grand Rapids. This conference is modeled much like ITMA. The day-long
event is geared towards IT Practitioners and features exceptional key
note speakers, a CIO panel discussion and breakout topics presented by
West Michigan IT Professionals.
Discussion Groups
Initiated
by members or sponsors, focus groups are formed to address specific
issues. We have a few larger consortiums, or “thought verticals” (health
care, school systems, etc) we would like to accommodate in this meeting
segment. Past topics have included: doing business in foreign markets,
security issues, business continuity / disaster recovery planning, etc.
iTEC
The
ITEC Council is a network of infrastructure technology executives from
enterprise size organizations that meet for formal and informal
connection, sharing, and collaboration on topics that are mutually
beneficial. ITMA Members receive a discounted rate on an iTEC
membership.
Facilitated Collaboration
ITMA
has even, in some cases, facilitated finding members who are ready and
willing to collaborate and offer practical assistance to you with your
technology solutions. Members report this benefit as invaluable by
saving them both time and money while exploring new solutions for their
organizations.
