Funding of IT
Leveraging IT/Business Financial and Resource constraints to close the gap between IT and the business
In this session we will explore what Forrester has coined as Technology Business Management (TBM).
To quote Forrester, "CIOs and their leadership teams can no longer leave the analysis, management, and optimization of technology management costs to spreadsheets and uncoordinated processes.
Those who want a seat at the table must enable their firms to be customer-obsessed... customer-led, insights-driven, fast, and connected."  IT and the business must work together to achieve differentiating results to attract customers with digital expectations.
IT must run like a business to ensure that the products and services it offers are optimized to achieve this objective.
It starts with clarity around the cost of services and better control of how resources (fiancial & people) are leveraged to pursue this new outcome.
